Ski Rentals

We offer a ski rental service for those heading to nearby ski resorts and backcountry areas such as Kamui Ski Links, Furano Ski Resort, Asahidake Ski Course, Kurodake, Tokachidake, and Horokanai.

A prior reservation through the booking request form is required to use our services.

• We do not offer snowboard rentals
• Ski and snowboard wear are not available for rent.
• We do not provide delivery services to hotels, the airport, or other locations.

Our Rental-ski- service

We offer two types of skis: standard carving skis and fat skis for backcountry touring. Climbing skins for backcountry use are also available for rent.
At Asahikawa Ride, we’ve introduced a service that allows you to use your rental skis for a full 24 hours from the start of your rental period.
You can, for example, rent your skis in the evening, enjoy night skiing with the city lights at Santa Present Park, and then spend the next day from morning to afternoon at Kamui Ski Links.
Guests staying at our adjoining Guesthouse Asahikawa Ride receive a special discount, valid from check‑in to check‑out.
If you would like to rent equipment, please make a reservation through the Rental Request Form.

Asahikawa Ride offers a service that allows you to use your rental skis for 24 hours from the start of your rental period.

Important Notice

•Our rental service operates by reservation only. We are unable to accept any rentals without a prior booking.

•Please make your reservation at least 24 hours before your desired rental date and time using the Reservation Request Form.

•To ensure proper inventory management and to provide you with the most suitable equipment, we do not accept reservations in person, by email, or by phone.

•Kindly fill out the required information in the reservation form to complete your booking.

・Standard Carving Ski Rental

We provide carving skis to ensure a comfortable skiing experience across the diverse ski resorts in the Asahikawa area.
You can check the availability of skis and boots in the inventory ⇩Inventory List.

・Touring Fat Ski Rental (with Touring Bindings）

We have provide fat skis with touring binding.
For ski touring, We offer two types of touring bindings:frame bindings (Marker Baron, Marker Tour F12) and AT bindings

◎Please note that the use of tech bindings and tech-toe boots requires a high level of skill, so those rentals are limited to advanced and well experienced skiers.

・Rental process

１.Reservation Application

Please apply using the rental reservation form.
The final acceptance date is 24 hours before the desired pick-up date and time.

２. Availability Check & Email Confirmation

We will review our inventory based on your reservation details and email you once availability has been confirmed.

３. Visit and pick up

Please come to the store at your reserved time. After the fitting, you will receive your rental gear.

４．Returning items

Please bring it back to the store at the return time.
We will check the condition and your return will be complete.

・Rentals are by reservation only.

・Please book at least 24 hours before pickup. We cannot accept late bookings or walk‑ins.Please make your reservation using the Reservation Form at the bottom of this page.

・We will take a copy of your ID (driver’s license or passport) at pickup.

・Staff are not always on-site. We will be present according to your scheduled time. Please contact us if your arrival time changes.

・A late fee will be charged for significantly overdue returns.

・Please contact us if your return time changes.

・Binding adjustment is required for ski or boot rentals (including 3‑piece sets). This takes about 10 minutes per person, so please allow extra time.

・If renting boots only, bring your skis for binding adjustment.

・Skiing involves risks. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries not caused by equipment malfunction.

・Insurance is not included. Please arrange your own if needed.

・We may refuse rental if you are under the influence of alcohol or otherwise unfit to ski.

・If equipment is damaged or lost, repair or replacement costs will be charged.

・We are not responsible for accidents or injuries unrelated to equipment issues.

・If the quantity or dates of your reservation change, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but it may not always be possible.

・Guests who cancel without notice may be refused future rentals.
