New for this coming season we have “BCA Float E2 35L” electric air bags available.
An airbag is the only thing that can protect you during an avalanche. The E2 system is very easy to use, gets multiple releases on a single charge.
BCA Float E2 is light and compact for an airbag pack and the 35L still has plenty of room for everything I need on a full day tour: shovel/probe, insulated layer, extra shell, lunch, water, and other small tools. Remarkable feature is the Stash pocket for easy access to a water bottle, gloves, or crampons without taking the pack off.
